Canid sighted near Ancaster

Wolf seen in woods behind my home in mid-December 2022.

My neighbour got a good photo of it, and after research we believe it to be a Gray Wolf.

Our homes back on to wilderness lands that line Hwy 403 in Ancaster.

Thank you so much for your report and great picture - perhaps one of our readers will be able to confirm whether this canid is a Wolf, a large Coyote or perhaps a Coyote-Wolf hybrid.
