What is this bird?

This guy landed on the 7th floor windowsill at the downtown courthouse this past week, for a visit.

Can you please tell me what it is?

That's a Red-tailed Hawk! :)

It might be an adult, or it might be a juvenile. I can't tell because I can't see his/her tail, but I'm sure an expert would be able to do so!
