Waterdown Coyotes

I am 9 months pregnant and woke up early one morning unable to sleep.


I was looking out the window around dawn and saw a Coyote in the field, about 20 ft from our house.

It was creeping along the edge of the treeline and looked to be stalking something.

I have seen coyote-like dogs in Water Ontario, where I live. My sightings are off Parkside Road in the fields. On two occasions I've seen them in packs. Today I saw about 7 of them. In 8 years of living in my home I have never seen so many nor have I seen them so frequently? I'm sure the development on Parkside has pushed them closer to us.
