Walking back to work

I was walking back to work after lunch when I saw a Coyote cut across a neighbour's back yard.

He was clearly injured because he wasn't walking on one of his back legs.

More and more I see them out during the day.

I have in the past crossed paths with them at night (for those who don't know, just let them know you are there and they will turn tail and run away).

What concerns me is the frequent day time sightings.
