Unknown Fledgling

Saw this beauty near Dunnville, Ontario. Makes and responds to whistling sounds.

The nest is on top of a hydro pole and it stayed very close to it's nest.

Please let me know what this beautiful bird is.

Thank you for sending these pictures - I think what you have seen is an Osprey, partly because of the markings but also because Ospreys eat fish and Dunville is on the water.

I agree with the first comment. Also, you will generally find an Osprey nest built upon a tall, opened flat surface.
