They are not rare

Brian, one of our readers says ..... White Squirrels are just another colour phase of the grey. Not so rare. If you look hard enough. There are blonds, very light greys, pure whites not albino, also albino. I myself find rarest of colour is a very dark chestnut brown. In all my years I have only seen one. He is large. The largest I have seen. He lives on my property and he just started hanging around last summer.
