The Beach, Kingston Road, Toronto

I was waiting for the bus approximately 7 a.m. last week.

From the corner of my eye I saw what first appeared to be a scrawny dog crossing the road ..... cars swerved to avoid hitting it.

This happened all so quickly, me screaming to think someone's family pet was about to be killed. It was not until the creature was on the other side of Kingston Road I realized this wasn't a dog at all ..... it was a coyote.

First time I've ever seen one outside of a zoo.

Interesting but it is also a concern, there are a lot of small pets in this area.
