Tasty Mailman?

December 3 2021 - south east of Aylmer, Ontario. I deliver rural mail out of Port Burwell and see all manner of animals and birds, but I didn't expect to have this cross my path.

Driving at 1:00 pm on a dirt road, the wolf crossed the road and went across the narrow newly turned field, it stopped at the edge of woods and turned to check me out. It was very light coloured with darker fur on its back, a good size, over 100 pounds for sure.

It seemed as curious of me as I was of it.

I got three live photos, but I sure wish for a better camera than my cell phone!

Now wild life people in the area tell me its impossible to see these in my area, but it sure wasn't a coyote, and it didn't look like any husky I've seen before...
