ST THOMAS ANGLICAN CHURCH
(Formerly St John's Anglican Church)

(Recently merged with Trinity Anglican Church and re-named St Thomas Anglican Church)

St Thomas Church, is one of two Anglican Churches in this city in Southwestern Ontario, and is in the Diocese of Huron. Located on Flora Street, just north of Talbot Street, which is the main street through St Thomas

Each Sunday morning, year round, this friendly Christian Church has two Services

9:00 am there is the Traditional Service from the BCP (Book of Common Prayer) with Hymns accompanied by the magnificent pipe Organ.

10:30 am there is the Contemporary Praise & Worship Family Service which features the music of Brian May and the St John's Singers, with their up-beat music and instruments.

Children are welcome at any Church Service, however, the Contemporary Praise & Worship service is family-focused may include the Christian message taught through liturgical dance, puppetry and song.

During the 10:30 Service, crayons and colouring books are available for children, as they are welcome at this family service.

Children are welcome during the service and are encouraged to participate in the music of the final song, with percussion instruments and voices!

Newcomers to St Thomas and those who are seeking a friendly Church, are welcome at either Sunday Service, and also to the Coffee Hour in the Church Hall, after the 10:30 Service.

St Johns Church is known as a friendly, welcoming Church, and is well known for the popular monthly Roast Beef Dinners, which are usually held on the fourth Friday of each month, except in July and August.

Come early, and make sure you bring your appetite!

At the beginning of Lent, on Shrove Tuesday there will be a Pancake Supper, with Pancakes & Maple Syrup, Sausages, and best of all, a slice of home-made pie, baked by the wonderful ladies in our congregation!

Watch out in November for the St John's Church annual Christmas Bazaar which is always a great hit, with crafts, baked goods and gifts for the whole family - get a head start on your Christmas Shopping at St John's Christmas Bazaar!

In Spring, come and shop at our Spring Garage Sale, check with the Church office for details.

St Johns Church Hall (Porter Hall) is available for rent for functions and will hold up to 250 people - great for Wedding or Anniversary Receptions!
