Spotting of the Wolves

It was December 1st at 6:30 pm, my wife, our son and myself were driving down a back road just south of Woodstock, Ontario, when we came across an animal standing in the middle of the road.

We slowed up and my wife says "Is that a Fox?" and I said "No that looks like a Wolf!"

We immediately stopped the van and spun around to see if we could spot it again.

Sure enough, it was standing back in the middle of the road again.

He stood and looked at us briefly then sped off into a freshly harvested corn field, so I maneuvered the van to face the field that it had just ran into, and with a flick of a switch my high beam lights revealed two of them running away from us.

These two Wolves were very similar in appearance to Huskies, but clearly were not.

The irony of the story is that we were just on our way to the movie theatre for a 6:50 showing of the Twilight saga "Breaking Dawn"!
