Shakespeare ON

Today, Sunday, December 5th, about 11:30 in the morning, we spotted a Bald Eagle on Highway 7/8, on the north side of the road, along the bordering line of scrub, east of Shakespeare, Ontario, heading toward New Hamburg, just before the railway overpass.
Another car had stopped and a man was photographing the bird, which did not seem greatly disturbed, slowly flying from perch to perch in the scattered small trees along the road.
We saw only one bird, an adult.
How lovely that must have been! I have seen them myself and they are such majestic, beautiful birds - thank you for sending us this report of your sighting.
