Ruby throated Hummingbirds in Kanata Lakes, On.

We're lucky enough to have Ruby Throated Hummingbirds visiting our back yard right through the summer.

They feed on both our flowers and feeders and it's great to see them land in the nearby trees to rest up.

They are not too nervous of our presence and when they're close by there's no doubt why they have the name 'humming' birds!!

Thank you for sending your pictures to us - it reminds me that it won't be long until summer (and the hummingbirds) will be back!
