Pack of Coyotes going after me.

These were for sure not dogs. Three years ago I was running in winter at night on a trail along the Grand River between Cambridge and Paris, when pack of Coyotes (or maybe Wolves?) were running towards me.

I did not see them, but there was more than one, and the noise was telling me that there were more then just two or three of them.

I froze awaiting them, but they stopped 10 - 20 feet from me howling and barking. I still did not see them, only trees along trail.

I was waiting for some of them to jump on the trail, but after 30 seconds of barking and howling at me, they left.

I always see animals on this trail, but this pack really scared me for the rest of the day!
