Owl Sighting

I saw this little guy this morning, he was about the size of a squirrel, sitting on my deck rail.

I’m surprised how close he let me get.

I'm not sure what kind of owl it is, but it was fun seeing him up close.

I’m an avid bird watcher but this is my first close encounter with an owl.
