Nest

We have an overhang on our patio and the Robins made a nest there 5 years ago.
Last month they made a nest in the pine tree beside the overhang.
They left and I took the nest to the over hang,
Today, July 9, she is building a nest beside the nest I put on the overhang what should I do?
If you can, take the old nest down, if you can do it without upsetting the birds.
If there is no danger to the birds, just leave the old nest there, if it poses no danger to them, they'll be fine.
You may have a robin family moving in soon!
