Moving to London ontario soon

Hi, my name is Lola, I will be moving to London Ontario as a permanent resident next month. I am of African descent and I love a place like London because it is really laid back, but I wanted to ask what is life like for an immigrant like me?


I am 25 years old and would want to study there to be a practical nurse.

Hi Lola - I hope your move to London goes smoothly. If I could give you any advice at all, from the perspective of one who moved to this country from overseas, it would be to try to "fit in" to your new city, to try not to compare it to where you lived before, and to smile at people you meet - you never know which one of them will become a friend!
