Late night Coyote Surprise!

by Mark Winchester
(Hamilton, Ontario, Canada)

Just went outside to take our small Terrier cross dog (Momma Dog) for one late night pee before bedtime.

We continued to walk enjoying the fresh night-time air (2:00 am), as she was taking her time in finding her spot.

As we rounded the corner from Quigley Road onto Greenhill Avenue, my dog froze, and I looked up, only to spot a Coyote traveling across the road (less than 50 yards away) following the Davis Creek waterway, along the treeline down the way.

Needless to say, after witnessing that sight, that cut our walk short.

But beautiful to see!!!
