Last winter I was driving from Tobermory, Ontario, and right around Cypress Lake, I looked into a field and saw a black bear ... weird ... shouldn't they be hibernating?
After quickly playing over what I had seen in my head, I slammed on the breaks, hit reverse and to my amazement, there stood a huge black Timber Wolf.
We stared at each other for a minute, with its yellow eyes piercing mine and when I tried to get out of my car it started taking off.
What I didn't see was the grey coloured one right behind it.
I told some locals about my exciting experience, and they also said it was Coyotes.
I track wolves in Algonquin Park, and Timmins, and hunt Coyotes ... and this, without a question, was a pair of two Timber Wolves.
Beautiful animals.
Thank you Sean, for telling us about your Wolf encounter - I hope you don't mind that I moved it here, and gave it a whole page of it's own, as more people will read it here, and enjoy your story!
I will also post this on our facebook page.
Comments for I've seen them too
