ISLAND WOLF

In the Spring of 2013, we heard of one of our island neighbour's dogs being attacked by a Wolf.

We did not believe it as we are on a fairly large island in Honey Harbour, but still an island.

In June of this year, while walking our property, on a rock face, there it was, a Grey Wolf.

Startling, but since we have Bears, Deer, Turkeys and always Foxes on the island, we were not too surprised.

The concern is for the normal cottager, with small children or pets, for their safety.

I guess we will see.
