Isabella
We live north of Toronto ,backing onto a forest, approximately 125 feet away from the treeline. We had Robins nesting under our deck where we have a walkout basement, we have had them building nests for years.
In each compartment of structure where the boards meet the support posts (farthest from the house) 6 compartments...usually only nest in 1 (lay eggs and hatch chicks) this has only happened late spring, however this year has produced nesting and chicks being hatched in July, today is 28th and just watched the birds being fed by the adult.
Is this normal at this time, only we have never experienced it other years ?
