Home Owner spots Coyotes

On Tuesday October 29th around 10:00 pm we spotted 3 Coyotes at our back fenced property line (we back on to a forest) standing in our forest spot lights.

Once they heard our noisy presence they slowly moved on their way, but weren't in any hurry.

We are worried they may be interested in our small Sheltie dog.

The large rabbit population in our immediate area seems to have dropped in recent months and we suspect the Coyotes were the predators.

We hear them often north of town.

Today (Halloween) at approximately 1:00 pm my wife spotted a Coyote across the street from our house walking along the back lots of several homes - she could hear dog's barking all along the street where it was moving.
