Hawk stealing nest

I took this picture of this gorgeous bird as it was being attacked by 10 other birds.

Suddenly it jumped into the tree and flew away with a nest of baby birds.

Stopped on a pole nearby to eat one and then carried the nest off, all while being continuously attacked by mama bird and her friends.

We felt awfully sad for our regular backyard birds... and amazed to see this hawk in an East Hamilton backyard!
