Grand River Kitchener

I was out for a walk with my wife and kids, and spotted a large Bald Eagle flying from tree to tree down the Grand River.

There is significant new development along the river, which hopefully will not push them away from wintering here.

I left work from the Region of Waterloo International Airport on January 05, 2011 and saw a Bald Eagle flying above the tree tops.

It was an amazing sight and something that I never expected to see!
