Golden Eagle seen today


(Milton, Ontario, Canada)

I saw a Golden Eagle at the side of the 10 Sideroad in Milton, Ontario, today, not far from Trafalgar Road.


It was sitting right close to the road on a tree stump.

I couldn't believe my luck as I drove slowly by.

This is only the second time I've seen one in the general area.

I'm 99% sure it wasn't an immature Bald Eagle because of the gold in the feathers of the neck.

It the first time that I’ve seen a golden eagle and now it has been sitting on my fence for the last 20 minutes!

My Dad and I have seen a Golden Eagle in South Oakville near the YMCA on Rebecca Street for about three days now. Flying at about 100 to 200 ft.
