Getting Too Close

Saw two Coyotes in my yard around 6:30 in the morning.

I was outside doing work in the barn. I stepped outside of the barn for a second, and saw a Coyote moving through the tree line about 10 meters away. I walked over to the trees, and shouted at it.

It broke cover and ran about thirty meters away, before stopping and looking back. I shouted again, and a second Coyote emerged. The pair watched me, until I started advancing, then moved.

They were sure to keep a thirty meter buffer zone, but never more. This is a fairly developed suburb-like neighbourhood near Kingston, Ontario.
