Georgetown White Squirrel

I have seen two white squirrels in Georgetown over the last 10 years. Once in the springtime I noticed the white squirrel shedding its winter fur. The winter fur seemed to be a darker shade of grey strangely enough.
I only remember this because the kids and I thought it was funny to see a squirrel with white on top and grey on the bottom.
Each day we walked to school we would see more white fur emerging until he was all white again.
