First Time in our yard

Very interesting bird, no idea what it is.

I hope you can identify for us.

Hello there, from the last photograph, it looks to me like you have a Northern Flicker in your yard. A nice looking bird, which shows a patch of light plumage on his rump as he flies away from you.
