Eastern Screech Owl

Visited this beautiful Screech Owl in Burlington, Ontario, today.

I knew the Owl was roosting at this location and was sad it wasn't out at the time I first arrived.

I knew that they sometimes respond to an owl call, so I used my phone and played a Common Screech Owl call.

Sure enough the beauty came out and answered.

We went back and forth for a few minutes and then the owl snuggled back up in the sun to snooze.

Great moment :)
