Coyotes in Lynden

I saw a beautiful Coyote that looked to be between 40-50lbs yesterday mid-afternoon (February 3rd 2013).


It was sniffing around the field behind my house and I managed to get a good look at him with my binoculars.

Its the 3rd one I have seen this month during the day time, so their population is definitely strong.

My neighbor has been in his home for 10 years and has never seen one so I consider myself pretty lucky.

Funny enough I will often hear their yips and howls close by when I am BBQ'ing dinner! Perhaps they smell the steak! Ha-ha
