Coyote seen in Peel Park, Whitby

Single healthy looking coyote has been sighted all summer in Peel Park in Whitby Ontario.

I saw it again this morning sleeping curled up in the middle of the parking lot at 6:50 am, it ambles off when people walking their dogs through the park come within 50-75 feet of it.

It seems curious more than anything else and I have not heard of it approaching anyone.

I hope that everyone can accept its presence and not feel afraid but give it the space that they would any other wild animal.
