Coyote in Soper Park Cambridge

Karen, one of our readers from Cambridge, Ontario, sent us this report of her Coyote sighting - We just saw a huge Coyote today in Soper Park, Cambridge, Ontario.


It yelped just once and did not look at us.

We left hurriedly since we had a dog with us.

The coyote was 30 feet away and he was on the west side of the creek.

Date and Time: January 27th 2011 at 4:20 p.m.

It had beautiful tawny colours and huge neck and head.

We hear them often at night, especially in fall, but we have seen one in our back yard, it was maybe 50 feet from the house, in the middle of the night on January 27, 2011.

We live in Cambridge, Ontario.
