Close Call

I have seen, 8 feet over the top of my Jack Russell Terrier, a Golden Eagle.

We are located on a farm located in King City, Ontario. The Eagle's wing span was approximately 6 feet.

Luckily, my 15 year old Jack Russell did not get attacked.

Several small birds were pecking at the Eagle's head as he flew, which caused the Eagle to lose his balance and he flew off.

Since this sighting, I have seen him only once more, however, I have noticed an absence of our Red Tailed Hawks that usually fly daily over the farm.

For this reason, I believe that he must still be in the area.
