Belleville Possum

(Belleville, Ontario, Canada)

This Possum first appeared in backyard in fall and suddenly re-appeared March 8, looking very weak and hungry.

Was fed dried cat food and ate every pellet tossed its way.

I wonder if it has been in the vicinity all winter.

It moved on after all pellets consumed, will see if it returns.

Which area of Belleville are you in? A neighbor just reported they saw one in the area near River Side Park, Freshco.
