I was hiking along one of my favorite beautiful trails we are blessed to have.

I was taking pictures of the beautiful scenery in winter, which is my favorite season of the creek with the freshly fallen snow surrounding it.

From the corner of my eye I had seen some type of bird flying and it was a decent size so I went to look.

Right in front of me during the early afternoon, was this beautiful Barred Owl.
