Bald Eagles

I like to walk the trails along the Grand River that flows through Brantford, Ontario.


In early May I was able to photograph some Bald Eagles that have a nest on an island in the middle of the river.

When I lived in Brantford, Ontario, I used to frequent Lorne Park, along side the Grand River. There's a secluded spot where you can park. Across the river was an Osprey nest. One day as I sat in my car during lunch (I thought I was seeing things)a Bald Eagle Soared in front of me. When I returned to the office, sure enough I confirmed there are nests along the Grand spotted in Cambridge. It was early 2005 and snow was on the ground. Beautiful photo's!!!
