Bald Eagle

Just around 10 am this morning in Camlachie, Ontario, I spotted a very large bird sitting high in a tree in the farmer's field behind our home.

I thought, "Wow that's a very big Hawk", but grabbed the binoculars and sure enough it was a Bald Eagle!

Thrilled to death to see it as I have never seen one before!

Hope it comes again!

We live beside a Golf Course with several large ponds, so maybe that was the attraction.

Wing span of a great owl flew out of small trees in the maples - then landed on a high branch in the bush -- no binoculars -- but for sure looked like a baldie!! Faint white head, hard to believe!! Glad I found your post!!!
