Bald Eagle spotted by Suzanne

On Sunday 3rd February 2013 I was driving home from Parry Sound, Ontario, with my daughter, we drove on the back roads home (McDougall Road) and my daughter saw a huge bird flying above.

It settled in the top of a tree so we stopped the vehicle and looked, I could not believe we were looking at a Bald Eagle!

The only camera we had was my i-phone so my daughter took a few pictures, but the bird was very high up and lots of branches were in the way.

I have attached a photo, I zoomed in as best I could but it's not the best shot!

Deep snow banks stopped us from venturing closer to get a better photo, so after a while we left and the Eagle was still perched at the top of the tree enjoying the sun I think.
