On Saturday July 21, 2012 we spotted a Bald Eagle flying with a Red Tailed Hawk and six Turkey Vultures.
This was at about 2:00 pm, at Hawk Cliff, 5 km east of Port Stanley, Ontario.
The flight of birds was heading west toward Port Stanley and we lost sight after 3 minutes.
At approximately 3:30 pm. another 5 kilometres east of Hawk Cliff, we spotted what seemed to be a Golden Eagle. He flew in front of our car into the woods and returned about 30 seconds later. We had a better look at his overall build and colouring and the extreme size that he was.
We could not confirm until we looked it up on the computer.
