Bald Eagle near Amulree Ontario

On my way to work yesterday (Nov 14, 2011) I saw, what I thought was, a Hawk on the shoulder of the road near Amulree.

As I approached, the bird flew up over the adjacent field, and I noticed it was a Bald Eagle.

I was thrilled, as I have not seen one in the wild before.

This morning, as I passed the same field, the Eagle was standing mid-field, as if it had caught something.

I am going to bring my camera tomorrow, in case I sight it again!
