Coyote in the Snow

We live in Aurora, Ontario, and we have heard strange sounds at night. I Googled the howl of Coyotes and it does sound like it.

We have not seen them this year, but have in previous years.

I am thinking this is a family as it sounds like many and very loud.

We back onto the forest, and we have foxes, raccoons and lots of small animals and a stream so it sounds perfect for them.

Coyotes have territorial boundaries and will howl to let other packs know not to cross. They also howl to get their pack back together after individual hunts.
Baby coyotes (pups) sound just like a dog yipping.
Lots near my house as it has lots of forest surrounding it.

Some live in the golf course between Kennedy and Golf Links. I saw one September 26th, at 6:45pm
