A family swimming together

Here is a family of Canadian Geese swimming in the Grand River.

When they saw me and the dogs, the adults went on each side of the goslings and swam backwards to the other bank, all the time honking at us to stay away.

The next day I went back to the same bend in the river and there was now 7 families of geese there.
