3 Snowy's in a row!


I had my first sighting of a Snowy Owl and it was very impressive. It made my day.

I was driving on Highway 86 just south of the Town of Listowel, Ontario, and saw a big male Snowy Owl land atop a utility pole.

Three kilometers further down the highway, a second Snowy landed atop another utility pole ... also a male.

Then a 3rd male Snowy about a kilometer further along.

Wow. I hope they are here to stay.

Truly beautiful.

I live in a brand new subdivision in Jarvis Ontario. Yesterday across the road, where more houses were being built there was a beautiful Snowy Owl!! Just incredible!!!

I have been seeing a Snowy Owl on highwayy 86, just south of Listowel regularly. Last week I saw two very near one another. Today I saw all three - two very near one another and one closer to Listowel. Your post was written long ago, but I hope that you see this and are happy to hear that they (presumably the same owls) are all still here!
